Discover and knit over 30 items for men, women and children, designed for all occasions and seasons, inspired by the Vikings’ warm, all-weather garments.. From tough-wearing sweaters and outerwear to elegant cardigans and jackets, all have made been made in stunning Scandinavian style. Hats, mittens, scarves and seat pads which match the sweaters and are easy to knit, can also be found in the book. Whether you love traditional, Nordic colorwork patterns and cables, or modern, textured knits, there is something for everyone.

Lasse L. Matberg comes from a family who, for generations, have been working to create beautiful, quality crafted items by hand – father and grandfather were craftsmen, and mother and grandmother often worked hard knitting warm garments for the whole family. Viking Knitting is a tribute to good-quality, practical needlework, inspired by the Vikings’ warm, all-weather garments.
The patterns are made in collaboration with Strikkemekka, and modeled by Lasse and his family.

Shipping
Orders are generally shipped within 3 business days of order being placed. Occasionally due to factors beyond our control (weather delays for example) it may take longer. If this happens, we will notify you when the package ships. Please note that once your package has been delivered to the shipping provider, we have no control over the speed at which your package moves.
We offer a flat shipping fee of $11 for domestic ground shipping on all orders under $100. Orders $100 and over (after any other discounts are applied) ship FREE. We currently ship UPS and USPS.
Returns
Because we want every customer buying the highest quality new product, yarn that still has its label attached and has not been wound can be exchanged for a Wasatch and Wool gift card, store-credit or other in-stock store items if returned to the store within 60 days.
Books, magazines, patterns and discounted (sale) yarn cannot be returned or exchanged. Classes, if cancelled 10 days before the first day of class, can be exchanged for a future class only. We enforce this policy on behalf of our teachers who have committed their time and expertise.
