($150) plus supplies*
If you’ve dabbled in stranded colorwork before and want to take those skills to a larger project, this class is for you! Tori will be coming back to lead the class! This beautiful, circular yoke sweater is knit from the top-down, with short row shaping to get the perfect fit. During the class, you will learn how to make a stranded colorwork swatch ‘faux in the round’, the basics of sweater construction (and how to riff off of a pattern to get a fit that works for you!), short row shaping, and more. There is no pre-work required before the first session. This is a class for intermediate knitters; you should feel comfortable knitting and purling, decreasing, and working in the round. Previous stranded colorwork experience will be helpful, but is not required!
Recommended yarns are Cascade Yarns Cascade 220, Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino or Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted
* Please note that supplies need to be purchased from Wasatch and Wool Yarns, but as a thank you for attending our classes, students will receive a 10% discount on all non-sale supplies. They will also receive a 10% discount on the final day of class for all non-sale purchases. Participants not using yarn from Wasatch and Wool will be charged an additional $35. We recommend that needles are purchased from Wasatch and Wool as there can be significant differences between needle brands.
*Classes, if cancelled 10 days before the first day of class, can be exchanged for a future class only. We enforce this policy on behalf of our teachers who have committed their time and expertise. There are no exchanges or refunds for classes cancelled less than 10 days from the first day of class.
