COMO Cashmere is the new and even softer version of COMO made of 70% superfine merino wool with 17.5 microns and 30% cashmere. The carded and three-ply twisted SUPERLIGHT DK yarn also has a meterage of 120m on only 25g. COMO Cashmere gets its unique lightness due to an innovative production method through which the temperature-regulating and breathable properties of merino wool are supported positively even more. The blend of the very fine merino quality and cashmere make the feel wonderfully soft and give the yarn its particularly noble, silky matt surface.

The mulesing-free raw merino wool for COMO Cashmere is sourced from selected Australian shepherds, the cashmere raw from Mongolia and China. The raw wool used is certified regarding animal welfare, sustainability, and social responsibility and we have it spun and dyed by a family-run traditional company in Italy. This yarn is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Product Class I (textiles and materials for infants and toddlers up to three years of age).

These properties make COMO Cashmere particularly versatile. Thanks to the softness and machine washability it is very suitable for baby clothes, accessories and everything that should be cuddly soft. Fair Isle gets a great look and especially larger knitwear benefits from the low weight, holding the shape excellently due to the elasticity in combination with the lightness of the yarn.

Care: COMO Cashmere can be washed in the washing machine using the wool cycle at 86°. The wool then blooms again and becomes noticeably softer, fluffier and the knitting pattern even more dense. We recommend the use of a neutral, mild wool detergent without enzymes and plasticizers, in very low doses. Then dry the knitted piece gently lying flat and avoid direct sunlight.

Orders are generally shipped within 3 business days of order being placed. Occasionally due to factors beyond our control (weather delays for example) it may take longer. If this happens, we will notify you when the package ships. Please note that once your package has been delivered to the shipping provider, we have no control over the speed at which your package moves.
We offer a flat shipping fee of $11 for domestic ground shipping on all orders. We currently ship UPS and USPS.

Returns
Because we want every customer buying the highest quality new product, yarn that still has its label attached and has not been wound can be exchanged for a Wasatch and Wool gift card, store-credit or other in-stock store items if returned to the store within 60 days.
Books, magazines, patterns and discounted (sale) yarn cannot be returned or exchanged. Classes, if cancelled 10 days before the first day of class, can be exchanged for a future class only. We enforce this policy on behalf of our teachers who have committed their time and expertise.
