Filoli Cowl Class

The Filoli Cowl features alternating sections of stripes and mosaic to create this stunning project! This squishy cowl looks beautiful with two contrasting colors, and the best part about mosaic colorwork is that it only uses one color per row. In class, you’ll learn how to read a mosaic chart, tips for changing colors at the edge of your work, and how to seam together a project. This is an advanced beginner class, and perfect for those who know how to read simple patterns, knit/purl and decrease.

Recommended yarns are Julie Asselin Leizu DK, Dragon Hoard Fairytale DK, Yarn Nouveau Merino DK, or Madeline Tosh Wool + Cotton in contrasting colors.

Recommended needles are US 6 circulars.

*Please note that supplies and patterns need to be purchased from Wasatch and Wool Yarns, but as a thank you for attending our classes, students will receive a 10% discount on all non-sale supplies. They will also receive a 10% discount on the final day of class for all non-sale purchases. Participants not using yarn from Wasatch and Wool will be charged an additional $35.
