We support our Park City Ski Patrol! (And please join us as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary!)

I want to take this opportunity to thank the amazing people who are the Park City Ski Patrollers for their hard work and professionalism to keep us safe while we ski and board. I also want to express my support for their efforts to secure a contract that fairly compensates both them and the Mountain Safety teams while addressing the rising cost of living in the Wasatch region.
Right now, members of the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association need financial support which is why Wasatch and Wool will be donating 10% of sales on Monday, December 30th and Tuesday December 31st to their GoFundMe. If you would like to learn more about their GoFundMe or make your own donation, please visit Strike Fund: Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association.

January 3rd and Saturday, January 4th
To celebrate we are having a very special evening on Friday, January 3rd from 4:30-6:30pm. Emma Stucker, who many of you met this summer while she worked in the store, and her friend Jocelyn Ginn will play classical music for us as we shop. Emma is studying music performance with an emphasis on the cello at Indiana University. Jocelyn is a second-year student at the University of Utah who loves to write original songs for piano and voice.
This is also a wonderful time to see our new yarns from Dragon Hoard, Noro, Katia, Madelinetosh and our new yarn from a renowned yarn company out of Oslo, Norway. We are thrilled to be among the first yarn stores in the US to carry Pickles yarn.
We will also be offering 10% off all orders both days in honor of our ten years in business. If you are shopping online, please use the code - HappyAnniversary10.
Knit-along
January is a great time to start a knit-along, and both customers and employees have expressed a lot of interest in knitting this mosaic and stranded colorwork shawl. Designer Natasja Hornby is known for her “Grand Mosaic” shawls and Artus with its gorgeous blend of colors and patterning is certainly one of her most beautiful creations.
Sport or light DK wool yarns are recommended for Artus. If you would like to join us, please stop by to choose your palette from Brooklyn Tweed Imbue Sport, Julie Asselin Journey Sport, Primrose Homestead Sport, Isager Tweed, Rowan Felted Tweed, or The Fibre Co. Lore.
We will be starting this project with a wine and cheese evening the week of January 6th. Please let us know if you would like to join us on this knitting adventure. We ask that you purchase the yarn for this KAL from Wasatch and Wool.
