Mode at Rowan - The launch of six new yarns!
Share
Rowan’s design team Quail Studio has also created a brand-new Mode at Rowan pattern collection exclusively for these new yarns. There are several patterns in each yarn, just a few of each are featured below.
A few of my favorite designs for this sport weight yarn are Titchwell, a comfy, seamless V-neck sweater; Coast Hat + Snood, a beautiful colorwork hat and matching cowl knit at a larger gauge as two strands of Mode at Rowan Alpaca Cotton are held together, and the Lana Poncho which is a versatile layering piece that features split sides and a ribbed roll neck.
Shoal is another stunning cowl that shows off how beautiful Mode at Rowan Alpaca Haze is in a lace pattern. Tottenhill is a beautiful cardigan that uses four different colors of Mode at Rowan Alpaca Haze. Pier and Metton are a sophisticated and stylish shawl and hat set knitted using just one strand of Mode at Rowan Alpaca Haze.
Salthouse is a beautiful slipover knitted using Mode at Rowan Alpaca Wool and Mode at Rowan Alpaca Haze together. Heacham is another top-down cozy sweater. Sandringham is a sophisticated ribbed skirt worked in the round from the waistband with encased elastic to keep the fit.
Quail Studio created a series of patterns using Mode at Rowan Chunky Wool that complement each other and can be worn together. They are the Highoak Hat, Salle Snood, and Southwold Long Coat. Lowestoft is super-warm cowl because two strands of Mode Chunky Wool are held together while knitting.
Oulton is a men’s crew neck sweater which is knit using moss stitch. It features drop shoulders for a casual yet stylish appearance. Holkham Hat and Scarf would be wonderful gifts for staying warm in colder weather . The beautiful Winterton cape cardigan is perfect for layering and effortless to wear. It is knit using one strand of Mode at Rowan Merino Soft and one strand of Mode at Rowan Alpaca Haze.
Three contrasting colors and intarsia are used to create the captivating diamond pattern in the Wave Wrap and Hat. Hale is a comfortable high-neck sweater with garter stitch drop sleeves. And finally, Bury will be a staple in my autumn wardrobe. I plan to wear this classic vest with a crisp white shirt which will be very on-trend.
