All six gorgeous new yarns from Mode at Rowan have arrived!
Mode at Rowan is renowned for stylish on-trend knitwear, contemporary wardrobe staples and seasonal color palettes. This season, Mode at Rowan is building on these foundations and introducing six new yarns that are perfect for everyday wear with a touch of luxury.
Rowan’s design team Quail Studio has also created a brand-new Mode at Rowan pattern collection exclusively for these new yarns. There are several patterns in each yarn, just a few of each are featured below.

Lovely on its own or in a colorwork project, Mode at Rowan Alpaca Cotton is a featherlight sport weight yarn available in a subtle color palette. Its airy feel and soft halo are achieved by filling delicate cotton mesh with luxurious alpaca fibers. The result is a lightweight yarn with incredible meterage and spectacular texture. It can be mixed and matched with Rowan at Rowan Alpaca Classic.
A few of my favorite designs for this sport weight yarn are Titchwell, a comfy, seamless V-neck sweater; Coast Hat + Snood, a beautiful colorwork hat and matching cowl knit at a larger gauge as two strands of Mode at Rowan Alpaca Cotton are held together, and the Lana Poncho which is a versatile layering piece that features split sides and a ribbed roll neck.

We have three upcoming classes with Tori that will be starting in October and November.
- Wednesdays, October 23, 30, and November 6: Learn to Knit Class 5-7pm. (October 23 will be from 5-8pm.)
- Saturdays, October 26 and November 9: Stranded Colorwork Class 9-11am.
- Mondays, November 4 and 18: Introduction to Cables 9-11am.
