Grand Opening Celebration! Knit-Nights are back too.

Knit-Nights
Wednesdays 5-8pm

Knit-Nights are back!
Please join us on Wednesday evenings to spend time knitting or crocheting together. Knit-Nights are held every Wednesday evening from 5-8pm. There is no charge to join us, but we request that you use yarn purchased from Wasatch and Wool Yarns.

We love when visitors drop by for a Knit-Night. If you are working on a project from home, let us help you find a souvenir that you can bring back from your trip to Park City.

Grand Opening Celebration
Friday, December 16th - 11am to 7pm
Saturday, December 17th - 11am to 6pm

Our Grand Opening Celebration is almost here! Please join us as we celebrate our new location, our new larger store, and most importantly that Park City, once again, has a yarn store.

The party starts on Friday.  We will have treats during the day and then shopping with Prosecco and light bites from 5pm to 7pm.

Saturday is the day to wear or bring your favorite project from Wasatch and Wool, either the old Redstone store or, if you are a fast knitter, our new location on Iron Horse Drive.

We are also having special sales and a prize for a lucky shopper each day.

30% off Pure Cashmere from Rowan

It is very rare to find cashmere on sale especially in this case because Pure Cashmere from Rowan is one of our new yarns. This velvety soft yarn is the result of a collaboration between Rowan and famed Scottish cashmere company Todd & Duncan which has been spinning dying cashmere for over 150 years.

This DK-weight yarn produces wonderful stitch definition and tends to pill less than other cashmere. Pure Cashmere is spun on the shores of Loch Leven, in a mill that has both generations of tradition and environmental conscious practices. Pure Cashmere offers excellent stitch definition and is ideal for cables and lace, making it a perfect yarn for luxurious sweaters and accessories.

The gorgeous hat shown above is Shay by Quail Studio. The pattern calls for only one skein of Pure Cashmere making it a wonderful gift for the knitter or recipient on your list.

As a special thank you, we are giving away a Cocoknits Tape Measure AND a triangle box of Cocoknits Triangle Stitch Markers to every customer who spends over $125 during our two days of celebration.

The colors of the tape measures shown above are Mustard Seed, Sea Glass and Wild Rose. These bright colors ensure that you will always find your tape measure in your project bag. The metal tape inside is 78 inches long and has a metal tab on the end to keep it from retracting. Cocoknits uses a metal tape because of their commitment to avoid plastic wherever possible. They also include a reusable linen drawstring bag to minimize packaging waste.

The new colorful combination of Triangle Stitch Markers comes in a triangle-shaped kraft box and a subdued rainbow of earth tone colors. I'm currently using triangle stitch markers, and I love how they stand out from my work. They are easier to find and easier to transfer from needle to needle.

Each day of the celebration, we are giving away three skeins of Kid Classic from Rowan and the pattern to knit the beautiful cowl shown above. The soft halo of Kid Classic enhances the stitch pattern of Hiroko Fukatsu's Cupido Cowl. The patten is very straight forward making it a great knit for advanced beginners and beyond.

For every $20 spent on Friday December 16th and Saturday December 17th, customers will receive one ticket to go in the drawing.

The two patterns shown above are a sneak peak of our upcoming classes. More information on this and our new instructor, Tori Reid, soon.

Please check out our updated website. It is a great place to keep up with Wasatch and Wool Yarns. We are beginning to post some of our yarns and kits which we have highlighted on social media. Gift certificates are now available to purchase as well.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.
